On Thursday, June 12, 2025, at approximately 2120 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot in front of 621 E. 169th Street, within the confines of the 42 Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 56-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head.
The victim was transported by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
