You Can Help Your Neighborhood Cats

What: Free Trap, Neuter & Return workshop

When: 12:30 – 4:00 p.m., Saturday April 28, 2012

Who: Neighborhood Cats

Where: Parkchester Branch Library, 1985 Westchester Avenue, Bronx, NY 10462

Why: TNR is the only humane & effective way to control feral and stray cat overpopulation in your community.

More:

•    TNR means NO KITTENS born to suffer or rescue.
•    Removing the cats doesn’t work. More (unneutered) cats will move into the abandoned territory.
•    In a managed (neutered) colony, cats are healthier and keep a lower profile.
•    Nuisance behavior such as spraying, howling and fighting, is virtually eliminated.
•    Natural rodent control remains in place.

Attend a free Neighborhood Cats TNR training workshop

All workshop attendees:

• Become TNR Certified
• Get access to Free and Low Cost ($5/cat) spay/neuter
• Gain access to free trap loans

Advance registration required. To register, please send an e-mail to tnr@neighborhoodcats.org or call 2126625761.

About:

Neighborhood Cats is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We believe Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is the most humane and effective method available to end the severe feral cat overpopulation crisis faced by this country. Our mission is to make TNR fully understood, accepted and practiced in every community.

TNR is endorsed by the ASPCA, The Humane Society of NY, The Humane Society of the US, The Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals and Alley Cat Allies among others.
