On Friday, September 10, 2021, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz,Jr. joined U.S. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, colleagues in government, community leaders, clergy and cure violence organizations, to discuss resources needed in the community from the Federal Government to address violence in our streets.

Senator Schumer shared that he is pushing for funding for at least $5 Billion on an annual basis for the City Of New York to expand services for cure violence organizations.
