Two men face charges after a month-long drug investigation conducted by the New York State Police and the Herkimer Village Police Department.
Jay Dean, 38, of Bronx, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree. Robert C. Sullivan, 45, of North Washington Street in Herkimer is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.
According to New York State Police, the arrests were the result of a month-long drug investigation conducted by the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team and the Herkimer Village Police Department. Two search warrants were executed on Wednesday in the Village of Herkimer. One in the 200 block of Steuben Street and one in the 200 North Washington Street.
Dean was sent to the Herkimer County Jail on no bail. Sullivan will appear in the Village of Herkimer Court on March 4, 2014.
