Two 15-Year-Olds Arrested For The Murder Of Nyla Bond, 20, A 3rd One Sought

On Monday, November 02, 2020, at approximately 1845 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an assault inside of 1460 Macombs Road, within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 20-year-old female with a stab wound to her chest.

EMS transported the victim to Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center, where she was pronounced deceased.

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following two underagee individuals have been arrested and charged as follows.

On Wednesday, November 04, 2020, at 1200 hours, within the confines of the 44th Precinct.

Arreated:

15-year-old female

Charges:

  • murder;
  • manslaughter;
  • criminal possession of a weapon.

On Monday, November 09, 2020, at 1300 hours, within the confines of the 44th Precinct.

Arrested:

15-year-old male

Charges:

  • murder;
  • manslaughter;
  • unlawful transfer of an assault weapon.

Pursuant an ongoing investigation, detectives have submitted a surveillance photograph of a 3rd individual, who is wanted for questioning in connection to the above described homicide.

The investigation remains ongoing.

All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
