A Bronx school bus driver has died as a result of injuries suffered in a fight with another man earlier this month in Mount Hope.

Police said 65-year-old Juan DelValle was behind the wheel of an Atlantic Express Transportation bus when he accidentally hit another car on Anthony Avenue in Bronx on June 11, 2012.

Investigators said the car’s driver, Joey Scott, got out, attacked DelValle and then took off.

DelValle was taken to the hospital, where he died Friday night.

The medical examiner ruled DelValle’s death a homicide from blunt force trauma to the head.

Scott is currently facing assault charges.

No word yet if charges will be upgraded.
