On Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at approximately 2015 hours, police responded to a call of an assault in the vicinity of 1581 Fulton Avenue, within the confines of the 42nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 31-year-old male, lying unconscious and unresponsive, with at least one gunshot wound to his body.
EMS responded and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 30-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at 0020 hours, within the confines of the 42nd Precinct.

- criminal possession of a weapon: loaded firearm.
The investigation remains ongoing.
