A public school therapist fired for slapping a disabled student and calling him a piece of s – after he spit on her is suing for her job back.
Lori Perucci, who worked at a school for disabled kids in Bronx called P188X, was fired May 8, 2017 after a city probe found her guilty of corporal punishment and verbal abuse.
But in her suit filed in Manhattan Supreme Court Tuesday, Perucci denied it.
“No good faith investigation, relying solely on these widely varying stories, could substantiate the allegations,” her petition states.
A spokesman for the city Law Department said the agency would review Perucci’s suit. Perucci did not respond to a call for comment.
