The Homeless Focus! Reel Players and Poets Club, Inc. presents “The Ricanciliation”..
This is a play about an old homeless man named Paquito Essencia that explores the soul of one of our lost and forgotten.
Part I – “Ur Self Storage”
Tony Pastrana, percussionist and entertainer, stars as Paquito Essencia, a homeless man full of life and pride, but trully disconnected from his soul. Watch as Paquito takes a plunge into his past, guided by the rhythm of his strong LAtine herritage.
Part II – “Rice & Being”
Herbie Quinones, 15-year veteran of comedy and entertainment, stars as Ciseo, a man in search of resolve. Until the age of twelve Cisco thought Condenado was his first name. Follow Cisco, a 40-something-year-old Puerto Rican from the Bronx who courageously looks back at the people, pleaces and things that shaped his value syste,. Laugh with him for an hour as he takes you back to a simpler time and place.
