The Hunt’s Point Library is sponsoring an “Open House” to be held in the Father Gigante Plaza next door to the library. This is an open invitation to neighborhood groups, leaders, organizations and individuals to join us in celebrating more than eighty years of service to the Hunt’s Point Community.

The Hunt’s Point Library has served and provided surrounding areas since 1929 with free and accessible information services, books, computers, audio tapes, Computer and ESL classes and programming.

We are asking your assistance in providing services in any of these related areas health services, entertainment, photography, dancing, singing, HIV Testing, checking blood pressure and body mass, diabetes, dental and eye care, primary care, children services, AIDS counseling and services, face painting, clowns, arts and crafts, and or popcorn machine or a donation for balloons, food, juices, and or water.
 
This event will take place from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Monday, August 16, 2010. We will provide tables and chairs to all participants. We are located at 877 Southern Blvd on Tiffany Street and East 163 Street Bronx, New York.
