The Bronx Conservative Party, coming off a historic victory in which they provided the margin of victory for the first non-Democrat to be elected to the New York City Council in the Bronx since 1983, has endorsed Donald J. Trump to be the Conservative Party nominee for re-election as President of the United States. The nomination was made by the 78th District Leader, Dion Powell, and seconded by the Recording Secretary, Grace Marrero.

Chairman Patrick McManus, an early Trump supporter, called the former President “a strong leader among a Washington political class that often runs from the world stage, allowing American interests to be weakened.”

“The return of President Trump will be good for America’s standing in the world, its economy at home, and its place as the world’s oldest and leading democracy,” McManus continued.

“Whether it be border security, support of law enforcement, a recognition of the sanctity of life, his many outstanding judicial appointments, or his remarkable appeal to minority citizens, particularly here in the Bronx, President Trump has earned another term as our President,” Chairman McManus concluded.

The Conservative Party of Bronx County has seen gains in enrollment and votes, particularly in minority communities throughout the borough.

The New York State Conservative Party endorsed President Trump in both 2016 and 2020, providing him with many hundreds of thousands of votes.
