On Saturday, May 18, 2019 (tomorrow), Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr. and The Bronx Tourism Council will co-host the 2019 Bronx Ball, the premier event of Bronx Week and the official celebration of this year’s inductees to the Bronx Walk of Fame.
This year’s honorees are critically-acclaimed singer/songwriter Regina Spektor, boxing legend Iran Barkley and planetary scientist Carolyn Porco.
The Bronx Zoo will also be the recipient of this year’s Tourism Award, presented annually by The Bronx Tourism Council to an individual or organization that has worked to bring new visitors to Bronx.
