A 15-year-old boy was arrested Friday night in the shooting of a young boy inside a deli in the Soundview section of Bronx earlier in the week.

The teen was charged as an adult with attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.

Investigators believe the 15-year-old was riding a bicycle outside Papa Yala’s on Randall Avenue at about 08:00 p.m. Tuesday and suddenly opened fire with a silver handgun.

Eight-year-old Armondo Bigo was caught in the crossfire, taking a bullet to the shoulder. Surveillance video shows the boy flinching as he was shot. He suffered serious injury but survived and remains stable.

The gunfire was apparently connected to a gang dispute.
