The NFL’s Super Bowl LIII (53), which will pit the AFC champion against the NFC champion Los Angeles Rams for the league championship, will be held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, on February 3, 2019 at 0 6:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.

This is Atlanta’s third Super Bowl. The city was host to Super Bowl XXVIII in 1994 and Super Bowl XXXIV in 2000 at the Georgia Dome.

The standoff between AFC champion New England Patriots/Kansas City Chiefs and NFC champion Los Angeles Rams will be broadcasted by CBS and Westwood One.

The halftime show will feature Maroon 5. Several artists turned down the gig, because of the way the league handled the national anthem protests. Maroon 5 confirmed on Sunday, January 13, 2019 that the band will perform. Rappers Travis Scott and Big Boi also will perform.
