Join us for a free screening of the award-winning documentary “From Mambo to Hip-Hop: A South Bronx Tale. “

The film From Mambo to Hip-Hop: A South Bronx Tale debuted in the fall of 2006. It was directed and co-produced by Henry Chalfant and will be presented at the Bronx Museum to celebrate the culmination of the show Henry Chalfant: Art vs. Transit, 1977 – 1987, as well as the beginning of José Parlá: It’s Yours (on view at the Bronx Museum from February 26, 2020 to August 16, 2020).

This screening is free and open to the public, so an RSVP is not necessary, but you may register through Eventbrite to get e-mail reminders and add it to your calendar.

The screening will take place on Friday, March 06, 2020, between the hours of 06:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
