Bronx bargain hunters can now shop for deals while also giving back at the borough’s brand new Salvation Army thrift store.

The 9,000-square foot family store is celebrating its grand opening at 356 East 149^th Street in Melrose.

Officials say that with every purchase, whether it be clothes, furniture or electronics, proceeds go to the charity’s alcohol rehabilitation program in Bronx.
