Robert J. ‘Bob’ Sicilia, of Sarasota, FL and formerly of Bronx, NY, peacefully passed away, February 24, 2012. A memorial service with Military Honors was held on Friday, March 2, 2012, 10:30 a.m. at the Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Road 72, Sarasota, FL 34241.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Corelli) Sicilia of Sarasota, FL formerly of Eastchester, NY; son Robert F. Sicilia of Nashua, NH; daughter Rachel Sicilia of New Rochelle, NY and his Brother, Paul Sicilia of Yardley, PA.

The many achievements in his life include Vietnam Veteran, restaurateur (Dominick’s Restaurant), community manager, early education school teacher, board member of numerous organizations, attendance at Marist Brothers Preparatory High School in Esopus, NY, Marist College in Tewksbury, MA and completing his undergraduate degree in Spanish at IONA College, New Rochelle, NY.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Bob’s name to the following:
