Late last night, fire tore through a 2-story private dwelling on Mace Avenue in Bronxwood, Bronx.

The American Red Cross assisted one family of two adults and two children with emergency housing. Funds for food were also offered to the family.

The residents are invited to meet with Red Cross caseworkers for additional services including referrals for longer-term housing. All Red Cross disaster assistance is provided at no cost to those affected thanks to the generosity of donors and volunteers.
