On July 27, 2020, at approximately 1730 hours, police responded to a 911 call for possible human remains in the rear of 877 Intervale Avenue in the confines of the 41st Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, Police discovered the remains of badly decomposed body parts. The Medical Examiner did respond to the scene and confirmed the body parts to be of human origin.
On August 30, 2020, this incident has been deemed a homicide.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
