The Bronx Community Pride hosts the fifth annual Bronx LGBT Pride Festival, “Breaking Barriers in the Bronx,” headlined by dance vocalist Safire, a pioneer in the Latin Freestyle genre and the first Latina ever featured on the cover of Spin magazine.

Saphire  will be singing her hits, including “Boy I’ve Been Told,” “Thinking of You,” and “Let Me Be the One.”

Sahara Davenport from Logo’s “Rupaul’s Drag Race” will also be on hand.

Vendors will offer up food, artwork, pridewear, and other clothing.

BCPC, which has just welcomed its new executive director, Dirk McCall, provides outreach, healthcare services, and a safe space for more than 10,000 LGBT youth, seniors, and everyone in between.

Crotona Park, Fulton Ave. at Claremont Pkwy., just east of Third Avenue, noon-7 p.m.
