Police Seek Suspect In Bronx Laundromat Rape

Police on Tuesday evening were asking for the public’s help in finding a man wanted for allegedly raping a woman in the laundromat where she worked in Bronx.

At 8:05 a.m. Sunday, a 27-year-old woman was at work at a laundromat in the Bedford Park section of Bronx when the suspect walked in, forced her into a back room, and raped her, police said.

The victim was treated and released from an area hospital.

The suspect wanted by police is identified as Danny Gonzalez, 44, who is Hispanic and stands 5-foot-8. He weighs 200 pounds.
