Police Look For Bronx Subway Groper

Police in the Bronx are searching for a man accused of groping a woman in the subway.

It happened Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at approximately 07:30 p.m. in the Fordham Manor section of Bronx.

Police say a 25-year-old woman was walking up the stairs to access the downtown “D” subway train platform at East Kingsbridge Road and Grand Concourse when she was approached from behind by the suspect.

Police say he lifted her dress and touched her buttocks.

The suspect then fled on foot back down the stairs.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man between the ages of 25 and 30, approximately 6’00”, wearing an oversized, navy blue bubble-style coat, faded blue jeans, a dark-colored do-rag beneath a Russian-style fur hat with brown fur trimming.
