Police Hunt For Suspected Shooter In Bronx Motel Slayings

Police have released the image and name of a man they suspect of shooting a man and woman outside a Bronx hotel early Saturday, police said.

The suspect, Joseph Kernizan, 42, is described as standing 5-foot-5 and weighing 220 pounds, police said.

Kernizan is a man police believe matches witness descriptions of a man who shot Wayne Hamilton, 50 of Milwaukee, and Tracy Bennett, 38 of Elmont, NY,  outside the Holiday Motel early Saturday morning.
