Two years back he rocked the Mets’ Citi Field, and now, ‘Rock and Roll Hall of Famer’ Paul McCartney is going to repeat history as he gears up to perform at Yankee Stadium on July 15, 2011.

Live Nation, a live-events company, announced that the legendary singer would take the stage in the Bronx.

The tickets, which will be on sale from Monday, are expected to go for as high as $279.50.

“[It] can safely be predicted to feature some nearly three hours of the world’s best loved and most known music, with hits, deep cuts and surprises spanning his unrivaled career,” the New York Daily News quoted Live Nation as stating.
