It is with great sadness that the New York City Police Department announces the death of another member of our family stemming from the Coronavirus Pandemic.
Giacomina Barr-Brown, a Civilian Member of the Service, died last night in her home.
A seven-year veteran of the NYPD, Ms. Barr-Brown was assigned to the 49th Precinct Roll Call Office in the Bronx, where she helped to ensure that patrol and administrative assignments were adequately covered on a daily basis.
May she rest in peace.
