The NFL has partnered with Nate Boyer, an NFL star and the United States Army Green Beret, to promote his new film. In addition, promotional efforts will target the non-profit brand on which the directorial debut MVP is based.

Nate Boyer’s directorial debut film focuses on the formation of Merging Vets & Players (MVP) and the dramatic events surrounding it. This is a non-profit organization launched through the joint effort of Nate Boyer and Jay Glazer, a Fox Sports NFL Insider.

The NFL remained an avid supporter of the program from the very beginning. Its popularity in the USA is unquestionable, and the best NFL betting sites always feature odds for the games. In the name of both the veterans and the athletes, the league officials promise to keep pouring their time and energy into publicizing their work as the two groups progress through their lives.

Nate Boyer himself plays the star of the show, along with the rest of the cast:

  • Tom Arnold
  • Jay Glazer
  • Mo McRae
  • Dina Shihabi
  • Jarrod Bunch
  • Dan Lauria
  • Christina Ochoa
  • Rich Eisen
  • Talia Jackson

The movie also features the following Hall of Fame athlete cameo appearances, all starring as themselves:

  • Howie Long
  • Randy Couture
  • Michael Strahan
  • Tony Gonzales

In the production department, several talented hands contributed to its final form:

  • Sylvester Stalone
  • Braden Aftergood
  • Mo McRae
  • Joe Newcomb
  • J. Craig
  • Jay Glazer
  • Shanna and Rob Schanen

WME Independent has been tasked with handling the sales on a worldwide basis.

Merging Vets & Players, a non-profit organization, was founded in 2015 to reach out to military veterans and former professional athletes to help them rediscover their sense of self. The whole idea revolves around leading them on a path of discovery as they find their identity and purpose once again when the uniform is cast aside.

At the time of writing, MVP has a busy schedule of gym-goers that gather every week with a strong presence across the US in the following seven cities:

  • Las Vegas
  • Los Angeles
  • Atlanta
  • Seattle
  • New York
  • Chicago
  • Dallas

A typical workout session consists of group exercises performed by the participating vets and athletes. Then, the pace slows down as they progress to the recovery phase on the wrestling mats. Referred to as The Huddle, this is a peer-to-peer coaching session that encourages sharing and vulnerability.

The entirety of MVP was shot in Los Angeles. The movie intertwines the worlds of former professional athletes and military veterans, both of which play an active role on the main stage and behind the camera. An actor played every veteran military character you will encounter in the movie with an actual background in the military, and military veterans make up almost half of the crew.

As part of these promotional efforts, several events and screenings are scheduled around the Super Bowl, NFL Draft, and NFL Combine. The goal is to raise awareness for both the MVP organization and the dedicated film, bringing it closer to the people’s attention.

When it comes to supporters who have a stake in the project, One World Universe is another important one. Being an early investor, the agreement was to back the project in exchange for recouping the original investment plus roughly 16.67% of worldwide gross after all the parties involved will have managed to recoup their initial investments.

In related news, Nate and OWUV have joined forces on an NFT project called MVP APES, a Bored & Mutant Ape Yacht Club derivative. This happens to be one of the most in-demand NFT collections on the entire OpenSea.io marketplace. Like the movie, the collection was also designed to pay tribute to those who are part of the military, both actively participating and already retired.

A part of the proceeds will be funneled to Nate Boyer’s MVP foundation. To be the first to see the artwork when it gets posted, make sure to keep monitoring the company’s social media accounts. The unofficial Super Bowl Sunday launch date is said to fall on the 13th of February 2022.
