In one of the most competitive division of the competition, St. Catharine Academy earned a 4th place in the Nation rank in the Medium Varsity Division. ESPN covered the event and will profile the squad and school at a later date in March.  Serving as the Stars good luck charms, the President and Principal of SCA, Sr. Patricia Wolf and Sr. Ann Welch, respectively, were in attendance to see the Varsity team perform a flawless performance in the Finals.

These 16 young ladies practice give the meaning of what a student-athletic is all about.  They practice an average of 20 hours a week, compete on the weekend and maintain a high grade point average in their academics.  They put all their heart, sweat and tears on the mat and it paid off as their ultimate goal was to make top 5.  Their successful season is due to the dedication and hard work of their coaches, Nicole Sallustio and Christine Roth, school, parents and sponsors.  A dream come true most especially for the only senior and team captain, Regina Ferguson.
