The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating the following individual, who is wanted in connection to an attempted rape, which occurred within the confines of the 42nd Precinct in the Bronx.

The following has been reported to police.

On Saturday, May 30, 2020, at approximately 0430 hours, the individual entered a residential building located in the vicinity of Vyse Avenue and Freeman Street by breaking a window.

Once inside, the individual laid on top of a 15-year-old female victim, who was asleep in bed and attempted to rape her.

The victim woke up and screamed, alerting the victim’s mother, who intervened and chased the individual out of the residence, resulting in the individual fleeing the location in an unknown direction.

The victim did not sustain any injuries.
