Marcus Wiggins, 45, Wanted For Rape & Sexual Assault, Turns Himself In

The New York City Police Department asked the public on Friday, November 12, 2021, for help locating Marcus Wiggins, 45, in connection to to two sexual assaults, which occurred within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.

Earlier today, Marcus Wiggins turned himself in to police custody in the 44th Precinct in the Bronx broadcasting on Facebook live.

Details are as follows.

Both incidents occurred at the victims’ residence in the vicinity of Gerard Avenue and E. 164th Street as follows:

  1. On Sunday, May 09, 2021, the individual approached the 12-year-old female victim inside of her residence and proceeded to rape her.
  2. On Friday, November 05, 2021, at approximately 2359 hours, the individual approached the victim inside of her residence and displayed a knife while demanding the victim perform a sexual act on him. Upon completing the act, the individual fled the location. EMS responded and transported the victim to an area hospital where she received treatment for injuries consisting of lacerations to her arm.

The investigation remains ongoing.

All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
