Man Falls To Death From Apartment Building

A man fell to his death from a Bronx apartment building Saturday morning, authorities said.

The unidentified man, believed to be in his 40s, was found dead in an alley in the rear of the Gerard Avenue building near E. 165th Street in Highbridge at about 11:15 a.m., police sources said.

It was not immediately clear if he had jumped from the building or if he accidentally fell.

Cops were investigating the incident Saturday evening.

An autopsy was scheduled to find out exactly how the man died.
