Man Accused Of Stealing $900, Electronics From Car In Morrisania

A man is accused of breaking into a commercial vehicle and stealing electronics and cash, police say.

The incident happened February 21, 2018, on E. 168th Street after 9:30 a.m. in Morrisania.

Police say video of the suspect was captured from inside of a nearby store.

The suspect broke the passenger side window of the vehicle before stealing $900, a cellphone, iPad and a barcode scanning device, according to police.

The vehicle belongs to a 55-year-old man and police say the vehicle is also used for commercial purposes.
