After high school, John received a scholarship to Boston University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Following his studies, John lived in Chicago where he met Vannessa Mills, and the two had his only daughter, Vangelic. John loved his daughter more than anything in the world. He made sure to let everyone know it; from the cashier at a grocery store, to his boss at work, and everyone in between. John moved back to New York where he became a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative. He loved his career. He is survived by his daughter, Vangelic Parker, sister Judith Harrison, his niece and family.

John always had something good to say about people, and people always had something good to say about him. He was a great man and father and he will truly be missed.

Visitation is Friday the 19th from 4:00-9:00 p.m. at John J. Fox and Sons. The funeral mass will be Saturday at 10:45 a.m. at Saint Philip Neri Church, 3025 Grand Concourse and burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
