Jimmy Summers, 36, Murdered

On Wednesday, June 03, 2020 at approximately 0715 hours, officers from the 44th Precinct in the Bronx were alerted by a passerby of an aided male inside the basketball court area of Claremont Park, within the confines of the same precinct.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 36-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to the head.

EMS transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was subsequently pronounced deceased. There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
