On Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at approximately 11:16 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of an unconscious infant inside 617 E. Fordham Road, Apt. 4C, within the confines of the 48 Precinct in Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 2-month old male unconscious and unresponsive. EMS responded and transported the male to St. Barnabas where he was pronounced deceased. The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.

There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
