On Friday, June 26, 2020, at approximately 1949 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress, coupled with a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Fairmount Place and Crotona Avenue within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 21-year-old male with a stab wound to the chest.
EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
