On Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at approximately 1830 hours, police conducted a wellness check inside 1628 Nelson Avenue, in the confines of the 46 Precinct in Bronx.
Upon arrival, police discovered a 21-year-old female unconscious and unresponsive inside the basement of the location with apparent trauma to the neck. EMS responded and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. The NYC Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death and the investigation is ongoing.
