The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached photo in connection to an attempted rape that occurred within the confines of the 44 Precinct in Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Friday, March 8, 2019, at approximately 0500 hours, in the vicinity of Sherman Avenue and McClellan Street, the victim, a 33-year-old female, was approached within the bathroom of her apartment by an individual she had earlier invited over to her residence. The male individual entered the bathroom while the victim was inside, told her, “you’re going to be mine”, and grabbed her while pushing his body onto hers. The victim screamed and attempted to refuse the male’s advances. At this time, the victim’s roommate approached and ordered the male to stop, before calling the police. The male fled the scene in an unknown direction.
