The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the two individuals depicted in the attached photos and wanted for questioning in connection to an attempted robbery that occurred within the confines of the 44 Precinct in Bronx.
The details are as follows.
It was reported to the police that on Friday, November 08, 2019, at approximately 1930 hours, a 31-year-old woman was walking home from work, when she was approached from behind by two unknown individuals in front of 199 E. 165 Street.
Individual #1 tugged at the victim’s hand bag and was unsuccessful in removing it from the victim’s possession. Individual #2 acted in concert with the first individual and both persons fled after attempting to remove the victim’s property. During the course of the struggle, the victim fell to the ground and sustained minor lacerations to her hands; she refused medical attention at the scene. The two individuals fled the location, on foot, heading east bound on 165 Street.
The individuals are described as follows:
Individual #1: teenage male, dark complexion, thin build; last seen wearing a black hooded sweat shirt, black pants with white stripes on the side, and grey and white Jordan 12 sneakers.
Individual #2: teenage male, dark complexion, thin build; last seen wearing a Nike multi-colored jacket, dark jeans, and black Jordan sneakers.
