The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the male in the attached photographs, who is wanted for questioning in connection to an attempted rape within the confines of the 30th Precinct in Manhattan.
The following was reported to the police.
On Friday, May 01, 2020, at 2100 hours, in the Hamilton Heights section of Manhattan on 149th Street, a 32-year-old female was followed into her apartment building by an unidentified male. Once inside, he punched the victim in the face and attempted to remove her pants. The victim was able to fight off the male and he fled in unknown direction with her cell phone.
The victim suffered pain and bruising but refused medical attention at the scene.
