The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photographs and video clip, who is sought in connection with an attempted assault, which occurred within the confines of the 41st Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Thursday, April 01, 2021, at approximately 0100 hours, inside of a bodega located at 1126 Westchester Avenue, the victim, a 40-year-old male store employee, was behind the counter inside of the store, when an unidentified female entered the store. The unidentified female pointed a firearm at the victim and discharged the firearm multiple times towards him.

The victim was not struck and the female fled the location in a gray sedan eastbound on Westchester Avenue towards Whitlock Avenue.

The discharged rounds caused property damage to the counter and ceiling inside of the store.

No injuries were reported.
