The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance photographs and video clip, who is wanted in connection to an assault, that occurred within the confines of the 49th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at approximately 1401 hours, at B & G Car Wash, located at 1243 E. Tremont Avenue, a 26-year-old male victim, who is an employee of the car wash approached an individual, attempting to vacuum his own vehicle. The victim tried to explain that only employees can handle the equipment. The individual angrily left the location and returned approximately 30 minutes later. The individual displayed a firearm and shot the victim in the left leg.

EMS responded and removed the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi in stable condition.

The individual fled the location in an unknown direction.

He is described as an adult male, Black, with a slim build and short black hair.

He was last seen wearing all black clothing.

Surveillance video clip and photographs of the suspect are attached and available at DCPI.
