The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance to locate and identify the individual in the vehicle,depicted in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, who is wanted in connection to a non-fatal shooting, that occurred within the confines of the 52nd Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Friday, October 08, 2021, at approximately 1800 hours, a 16-year-old male victim was at the corner of W. Fordham Road and Andrews Avenue, when an unknown vehicle struck his moped. The victim fled on the moped, riding on the sidewalk towards W. 183rd Street, with the vehicle in pursuit.

Once in front of 2272 Andrews Avenue, the driver of the vehicle discharged multiple rounds from a firearm from inside of the vehicle, striking the victim one time in the right knee, before fleeing in an unknown direction.

EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to an area hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

The vehicle is described as a silver Chrysler Sebring sedan.
