The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, who is wanted in connection to an assault, that occurred within the confines of the 52nd Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at approximately 1415 hours, inside of a BX41 MTA bus,stopped at 2953 Webster Avenue, the individual pushed the 42-year-old female victim’s 61-year-old husband off the bus.

When the victim confronted the individual about his actions, he stabbed her in the chest.

The individual walked off the bus and fled the scene on foot westbound on Bedford Park Boulevard.

EMS transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital with a collapsed lung. She was listed as being in stable condition.

The individual is described as an adult male, Black, with a beard.

He was last seen wearing a black and purple Los Angeles Lakers baseball cap, a yellow hooded sweater, blue jeans, and black sneakers.

A surveillance video clip and a photograph of the suspect are attached and available at DCPI.
