Help Identify An Assault Suspect

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the following male wanted for questioning in connection to an assault within the confines of the 52nd Precinct in Bronx.

The following has been reported to police.

On Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at approximately 12:55 p.m., the male approached a 37-year-old male NYPD Traffic Agent near the intersection of East Kingsbridge Road and E. 194th Street while he was performing his duties. The male proceeded to punch the agent one time in the face and fled southbound on East Kingsbridge Road towards East Fordham Road. The agent was treated at an area hospital for pain.

The person wanted for questioning is described as a male, Hispanic, early twenties, approximately 5’8″, approximately 140 lbs.; last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, black Nike sweatpants, and white/black sneakers.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782).
