The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual and vehicle, depicted in the attached surveillance video clip and photographs, who is wanted in connection to an assault, that occurred within the confines of the 47th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Thursday, April 08, 2021, at approximately 2351 hours, in front of 900 E. 213th Street, the suspect fired several rounds from a firearm, striking the 24-year-old male victim in his chest, right thigh, groin, and back, before fleeing in a silver Jeep Wrangler.

The victim was transported to Jacobi Hospital, and has since been released.

A surveillance video clip and a photograph of the suspect are attached and available at DCPI.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers‘ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
