The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified male, seen in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, who is sought in connection with an assault in Transit within the confines of the 41st Precinct/ Transit District 12 in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Thursday, December 31, 2020, at 1000 hours, inside of the Hunts Point Avenue 6 Train Station, the victim, an on-duty MTA employee, asked an unidentified male to cease urinating and smoking on the platform.

Shortly thereafter, the unidentified male slapped the victim in her face as he exited the turnstiles and fled the station.

The victim suffered pain to her face and was transported by EMS to Jacobi Hospital in stable condition.

A surveillance video clip and a photograph of the suspect are attached and available at DCPI.
