The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified male, who is seen in the attached surveillance photographs and is sought in connection with an assault, which took place within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Saturday, September 12, 2020, at 1126 hours on the corner of River Avenue and E. 161 Street, the victim, a 65-year-old male, was approached by an unidentified male who punched him in the face, causing him to fall to the ground.

The unidentified male fled on foot.

The victim, who suffered a fractured jawbone, was transported by EMS to Lincoln Hospital.

The unidentified male is Black. He was wearing a dark shirt with a collar, black pants and sneakers.
