The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance photographs in connection to a shooting, that occurred within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Sunday, June 07, 2020, at approximately 1441 hours, in front of 285 E. 156 Street (Jackson Houses), an unidentified individual approached the victim, a 34-year-old male, and shot him one time in each leg. The individual then fled the scene in an unknown direction.

The victim was removed to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln in stable condition.

The individual sought for questioning is described as a male, black, 20-25 years old with a beard and mustache.

He was last seen wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt with a light colored pattern on the front, dark colored pants and light colored sneakers.

Surveillance photographs of the suspect are attached and available at DCPI.
