The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals, depicted in the attached surveillance photographs and video clip, who are wanted in connection to a robbery, that occurred within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Friday, December 24, 2021, at approximately 2114 hours, in front of 218 E. 170th Street, one individual approached the 27-year-old male victim and asked for $20. The victim refused and fled the scene when he saw the other two individuals approach him from behind.
The three males followed the victim and caught up with him in the vicinity of 1340 Morris Avenue where one of the males displayed a handgun and demanded his property. The victim complied and gave them $950 in cash and a bag that contained a pair of boots and a hat.
The individuals fled the scene on foot northbound on Morris Avenue.
The first individual is a Hispanic male, in his 40s; last seen wearing a light blue hat, a dark-colored coat, gray sweatpants and sneakers.
The second individual is a Hispanic male, in his 20; last seen wearing a black hat, a red jacket, black pants and white sneakers.
The third individual is a Hispanic male who wore a gray hooded sweater, blue jeans and black sneakers.
