The New York City Police Department is asking the public for assistance with locating and identifying the individual in the attached video and photograph, who is wanted in connection to several robberies that occurred within the confines of the 40 Precinct in Bronx.
Details are as follows:
Incident #1: It was reported to police that on Thursday August 30, 2018, at approximately 08:35 p.m., in front of 540 Bergen Avenue, the individual approached the 22-year-old male victim, displayed a handgun and demanded his bicycle. The victim complied and the individual took the victim’s bicycle. The individual fled on the bike northbound on Bergen Avenue.
Incident #2: It was reported to police that on Saturday September 1, 2018, at approximately 1245 hours, in front of 556 Morris Avenue, the individual approached the 53-year-old male victim, displayed a handgun and demanded his money. When the victim refused to give over his money, the individual struck him on the head with the handgun. The individual put the handgun away, produced a box cutter and attempted to cut the victim with it. After a brief struggle with the individual, the victim managed to get away from him. The individual fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
The individual is described as a male, Hispanic, 40 to 50 years old, 5’8″ to 5’10”, bald; last seen wearing a white shirt, blue shorts and dark colored shoes.
